Digital Badge Program
At Hunter’s Fund, we believe the best way to honor Hunter’s legacy is to invest in young people who are stepping up to make a difference — not just by what they give, but by how they lead.
That’s why we’re proud to launch something new: The Digital Badge Awards Program.
This effort is more than a recognition tool. It’s a powerful way to celebrate the student volunteers who lead our Safe Driving Week campaigns — those who raise awareness, rally their peers, and inspire safer choices behind the wheel.
Why It Matters
Our volunteers aren’t just helping classmates sign pledges — they’re organizing events, reaching out to donors, setting up tables in the rain or cold, and sending messages to everyone they know. They are advocates, fundraisers, and organizers. And for many of them, this is the first time they’ve done anything like this.
We’ve heard their stories:
A student who raised over $1,000 by sharing Hunter’s story with her entire campus group and extended family.
A freshman who staffed the pledge table every single day — not because he had to, but because it felt personal.
Two student leaders who rallied their organization to make the campaign the most successful their campus has ever seen.
A group of students who canvased the local business communtiy and engaged merchant support of Safe Driving Week.
These efforts deserve to be recognized — not just with a thank-you, but with a credential they can carry forward.
Celebrating Young Leaders: A New Way to Honor Campus Changemakers
Students now earn Digital Badges for their involvement. Each badge represents a different level of leadership and impact. They're designed to be shared proudly — on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and scholarship applications - as a symbol of character and contribution.
Here are a few examples of the badges students can earn:
Donor Support Makes This Possible
You may wonder: how do these students find the courage to lead? The answer often starts with you.
Thanks to your support, Hunter’s Fund can provide campaign kits, training, and encouragement to these volunteers. We can make sure they’re not doing it alone. And now, with these badges, we can give them something lasting — a mark of pride and purpose.
Looking Ahead
As the program rolls out this semester, we hope you'll follow along. We’ll be sharing stories from badge earners — the students who are turning Hunter’s story into action on campuses across the country.
And if you're ever wondering whether your support matters: Just look for the badges.
Every one tells a story of a young leader, a safer road, and a future that’s a little bit brighter because of you.
We are proud to recognize the 2025 Fall Semester Badge Winners:
