Bridget Woolley brings ballet and wellness education to young students

Professional dancer Bridget Woolley is using her artistry and teaching expertise to inspire the next generation. Based in Orlando, Florida, and training under Henry Rodriguez at United Ballet Theatre, Bridget is a graduate of the UNC School of the Arts with over 15 years of ballet experience. She’s also a certified Pilates instructor, passionate about movement as a tool for growth and wellbeing.

With support from her Hunter’s Fund grant, Bridget is launching Ballet Foundations: Building Young Dancers, a program bringing ballet and Pilates instruction to elementary school students who may not have access to formal dance education. The grant will fund portable ballet bars, Pilates mats, and equipment for her classroom-based lessons.

Having already developed over 100 hours of curriculum aligned with Florida’s state standards, Bridget focuses on coordination, creative expression, and mindfulness through movement.

“For me, the studio has always been a sanctuary,” Bridget says. “I want every student to feel that same joy and confidence through dance.”
