Carlon Bute Builds a Future in Computer Science

Carlon Bute, at only 17 years old, was one of the youngest grant applicants. A resident of Kingstown, on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent, he has displayed a passion and aptitude for the computer field.

However, coming from a single parent home with many financial difficulties, he was limited in pursuing his education in computer technology. With the Hunter’s Fund Grant, Carlon will be entering college and earning a two-year degree. 

His ongoing aim is to earn a college scholarship and travel to Taiwan to continue his studies in computer and robotics design. Carllon’s grant was renewed for a  second year.
