Ideas with Impact:
How Hunter’s Fund Fuels Personal Growth

Derek Snyder – Boiling Springs, Pennsylvanua
After a friend survived a traumatic brain injury, Derek used his grant to launch a nonprofit that now supports others on the long road to recovery. His work is helping survivors reclaim their lives.

Tavio Simmons – Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Tavio grew up watching the sea sustain his island community. With scuba certification and ocean-monitoring equipment funded by Hunter’s Fund, he’s pioneering a new venture using sustainable sea moss farming methods to strengthen marine health and local economies.

Nikita Chatterjee & Brianna Howard – New Jersey and New York
Moved by water scarcity in rural India, these two college students designed a culturally informed filtration system combining innovation and tradition. Their prototype - funded by Hunter’s Fund - could make clean water more accessible where it’s needed most.

Kenichia Charles – Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Kenichia saw hospitals struggling to maintain life-saving machines. With her grant, she trained in biomedical equipment maintenance in the U.S. and brought those skills - and critical calibration tools - home, improving care for thousands.
