Every grant starts with a young person brave enough to believe an idea can become real. When an application arrives at Hunter’s Fund, we see what they want to build and the difference they hope to make.

Your gifts make it possible for us to say yes to the best ideas. We review each application carefully:

First, an experienced volunteer screens for the strongest ideas and mission fit. Each top application includes a detailed budget and a one-year plan, and finalists are selected based on mission fit, feasibility, and need.

Next, our Grants Committee reviews the top applications, budget, and next steps, then votes.

Finally, Board Members give a final review and vote based upon the funds available.

Grants of up to $5,000 can be the turning point between “someday” and “I can do this now.” And it all happens because of you. Your support helps young people be seen, supported, and ready for their next step.
