Conservation Rocks!
New York-based designer Caroll Kern , a 2015 graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, is blending her creative talent with her commitment to making a positive effect. With a background in fashion design and a passion for wildlife, Caroll is pursuing her dream of launching a philanthropic brand called Conservation Rocks !
The brand will begin with a line of unisex socks featuring designs inspired by animal species, combining wearable style with an environmental message. Caroll has already secured interest from retailers and wildlife centers eager to carry the products both in stores and online. Her model is simple but powerful: create nature-themed fashion items that return a portion of proceeds to conservation groups, providing financial support for their vital work.
With the help of her Hunter Watson Memorial Fund grant, Caroll will produce her first inventory of merchandise. Proceeds will be reinvested to grow the line, helping transform her vision of philanthropic fashion into a sustainable, conservation-driven enterprise.
