A different view can change what people notice. For Chase Guttman, looking at the world from above became both an artistic pursuit and an entrepreneurial path.
While at Syracuse University, Chase built an early business around aerial and drone photography. He published a handbook on drone photography, taught others how to use the technology, and developed a company that combined photography, videography, education, travel, and marketing.
His story shows how an unusual creative interest can become something larger when a young person keeps experimenting, learning, and finding new ways to share the work.
