Passing the Power of Coding Forward
Code++
Learning to code can open an entirely new way of thinking about problems, but many young people never get the chance to begin.
Gabriella Coada and Claire Howard developed Code++ to bring computer-coding camps to young people in developing communities. The idea was not only to teach technical skills, but also to give students an early experience of creating something with technology.
The program has been connected with coding education in Moldova, where Hunter's Fund later reported that camps continued serving young people after the original award.
