Online marketplaces can look simple to shoppers while being surprisingly complicated for the small teams trying to build them.
Jackson Ensley co-founded ModoSuite after learning that lesson through an earlier student marketplace. ModoSuite was designed to give startups a faster way to create marketplace businesses by bringing together functions such as authentication, databases, payments, hosting, and technical support.
Jackson wanted entrepreneurs to spend less time rebuilding basic infrastructure and more time testing whether their own marketplace idea could work.
