Creative careers often grow because someone says yes to a project before anyone knows exactly where it will lead.
Jeremy Todd Shinder used his Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award to help fund his thesis film, Theo's Tears, through Jere Bear Films. The film completed a festival circuit, giving him experience carrying a production from idea through finished work and public screening.
He has continued stretching beyond that project, directing feature-length documentary work, producing animation, developing a television idea that began in college, and continuing to act and audition. One small opening became permission to keep trying larger things.
