How It Works
Hosting a Safe Driving Week is simpler than most people think.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before you reach out to Hunter’s Fund. You just need a group that is interested in bringing the message to campus.
Here is the basic plan.
First, choose your event or campaign week. Your group can table for pledge signatures, host a fundraiser, or do both. Some groups choose a car wash, pie event, restaurant night, 5K, petting zoo, or another event that fits their campus.
Second, Hunter’s Fund helps you prepare. That can include pledge cards, posters, banners, fundraising ideas, campaign tools, and a step-by-step plan. The goal is to make the process easier, especially for student leaders who are already balancing classes, meetings, and other commitments.
Third, your group runs the event. Volunteers talk to classmates, ask students to sign Hunter’s Pledge, promote the fundraiser, and help make the message visible on campus.
That is it: choose the event, get support, and run it.
A Safe Driving Week can be hosted by a fraternity, sorority, club, team, service group, or another student organization. Groups can also work together to reach more students.
If your group is ready to lead, Hunter’s Fund can help you get started.
