University to Continue Remote-Learning in Fall

As students are entering their summer breaks, many schools have already made an official announcement regarding the upcoming Fall semester. While many of the schools have announced to have students back on campus with restrictions in place, California State University was one of the few schools that decided to continue remote-learning and to keep students off-campus.

The decision was made in regard to the protection of students and faculty from the global coronavirus pandemic. One of the largest four-year public universities in the nation, Cal State will keep most of the 23 campuses empty for several months to come due to remote-teaching.

As a result of the current health crisis, many school-related programs have been canceled or virtually replaced by the involved organizations. Recently, the chapter of alpha Kappa Delta Phi of James Madison University, hosted a virtual safe driving event to sign pledges for an alternative Hunter’s Pledge event that’s usually held on campus grounds.

Similar to school system nationwide, Hunter’s Fund’s best interest will always be in the safety of our students and educators. The Hunter’s Pledge programs will continue in Fall whether virtually or in-person with appropriate restrictions in place in compliance with the hosted universities.
