Jack Venerus Brings Clarity to Aircraft Sales

Buying or selling a business jet is a major decision.

But for the brokers and researchers who work in the pre-owned business jet market, the information they need is not always easy to find.

Jack Venerus wants to make that process clearer.

Jack is the founder of WingStat, an online platform that provides aircraft transaction data for professionals who study, price, buy, and sell pre-owned business jets. The idea is to give brokers and market researchers better information about past aircraft sales so they can make stronger decisions about pricing, value, and timing.

Jack is majoring in Applied Data Analytics, and WingStat reflects the way he combines technical skill with a practical business need. He saw a market where better data could help people make better decisions — and started building a tool to do just that.

The Hunter’s Fund award will help Jack move WingStat from an early test version into a stronger, production-ready platform. That means building the systems needed to support users safely, efficiently, and reliably.

“At its core, WingStat is about delivering verified data and elevating transparency across business aviation,” Jack said. “Better data means better valuations, faster deals, and stronger client confidence across the entire brokerage ecosystem.”

Jack is now working toward WingStat’s beta launch.

With WingStat, he is trying to bring more clarity and confidence to a market where the right information can make all the difference.
