Turning Product Photography Into Motion
The award is helping Lars keep building a business around the kind of work he loves — creative, practical, and made to help other young entrepreneurs succeed.
Most food and beverage brands have only a second or two to catch someone’s eye.
Lars Jendruschewitz is helping them make that second count.
Through his business, Photos by Lars, he creates bold product photography and stop-motion content for food and beverage brands that sell directly to consumers. His goal is simple: create images that make people stop scrolling, look closer, and want to buy.
Brands ship their products to Lars, and he handles the creative process from his studio. He develops photographic shot lists, moodboards, AI-powered mockups, and finished photos, giving clients a fully remote way to get professional, eye-catching content.
Lars brings both creative talent and business discipline to his work. At Syracuse University, he focused on commercial photography, marketing management, and entrepreneurship. He also gained international marketing experience while working in Hamburg, Germany.
That combination of creativity and drive helped Lars earn the Hunter Brooks Watson Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award.
He has also used his skills to support another Hunter’s Fund award winner, Natasha Brao, by working with her brand, Shooka Sauce.
For Lars, the award came at the right time. After long days in the studio and weeks spent building his business, it reminded him that his work was being seen.
“Some days you’re so deep in it you forget that,” Lars said. “You wonder if anyone notices what you’re building. Turns out they do.”
