Ryan Bloomingdale blends art and music in his creative journey

Ryan Bloomingdale views the world through a creative lens, expressing himself through music, poetry, photography, and film. An accomplished artist and performer, he is driven by a desire to produce original works that communicate meaningfully with others. His diverse talents highlight both his artistic sensitivity and his commitment to pursuing creative projects that inspire.

Now a senior at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Ryan is preparing his senior thesis, which will showcase his songwriting and performance abilities. To support this project, he applied for and received a Hunter Watson Memorial Fund grant. The funding will help him secure the recording studio space and instruments he needs to bring his vision to life.

Combining piano, guitar, and drums with his lyrical and poetic sensibilities, Ryan is set to produce a body of work that reflects his distinctive artistic voice. His dedication, talent, and multidisciplinary approach made him a strong candidate for the Hunter’s Fund grant.
