Students Helping Students Make Safer Choices
Safe Driving Week gives students the tools and encouragement to lead a campaign on their own campus. Student volunteers set up tables, talk with classmates, and ask them to sign Hunter’s Pledge not to drive distracted.
What makes these campaigns powerful is that the message comes from peers. Students are not just hearing another safety warning. They are being asked by classmates, friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, teammates, and campus leaders to think seriously about the choices they make behind the wheel.
Gifts from supporters help provide the materials, planning support, and encouragement students need to make these campaigns successful. Because of that support, more students are reached with a simple message that can save lives: don’t drive distracted.
Each Safe Driving Week helps students:
Lead a visible campus awareness campaign

Helping Young People Pursue Promising Ideas
Hunter’s Fund also provides grants to young people with ideas they are ready to explore. These grants help students and young adults take the next step in music, the arts, technology, entrepreneurship, and other creative pursuits.
The grants program is built on the belief that young people often need encouragement at just the right moment. A grant can help them buy materials, test an idea, complete a project, build a prototype, record music, develop a performance, or take a meaningful step toward a dream they may not otherwise have had the resources to pursue.
Each grant is more than financial support. It is a vote of confidence. It tells a young person that their idea matters, their effort is worth taking seriously, and their future is worth investing in.
Hunter’s Fund Grants help young people:
