As artificial intelligence becomes more common in hiring, Hunter’s Fund grant recipient Alex Caraballo is helping employers navigate a rapidly changing landscape. Through ClearHire, Alex is developing a platform that helps companies use AI in hiring clearly, fairly, and responsibly.

An Information Management and Technology student, Alex recognized that many organizations are unprepared for emerging regulations that require greater transparency around AI-driven hiring decisions. ClearHire is designed to help employers notify candidates when AI is used, explain its role in evaluations, manage appeal processes, and maintain secure audit records.

“Most companies aren’t ready for this yet,” Alex said. “That’s what we’re solving.”
