FROM DEMO TO MAIN STAGE: HOW JACKSON HIRSH IS PAYING IT FORWARD

Jackson Hirsh was just a college sophomore with a guitar, a voice, and a dream. A grant from Hunter’s Fund helped him take the first step: Recording a demo with his own equipment. That demo opened doors. Small shows turned into big ones, and before long, Jackson signed a record deal and began performing under the name Rence.

Today, Rence is an LA-based singer, songwriter, and producer with over 38 million streams to his name. He’s played major festivals like Lollapalooza and worked with artists including Noah Cyrus. But even with that success, Jackson hasn’t forgotten how it started.

In a full-circle moment, Jackson chose to return his grant so that another young musician could follow in his footsteps. His gift back to Hunter’s Fund is now helping someone else record their own demo and launch their own journey.

That’s the kind of support your donation provides; it isn’t just a grant, but a chance to grow, to share, and to give back.

Donate today—launch a dream tomorrow.

Your gift could help the next Jackson find their sound, their voice, and their future.
