Virtual reality was still searching for simpler, more accessible hardware when Matt Shumer began working on an early headset venture as a student.
Matt and Sam Hollander developed the business that became Visos, gaining experience in product development, testing, pitching, and building a company around emerging technology. The project was an early step in Matt's entrepreneurial path.
He later co-founded OthersideAI with Jason Kuperberg. In 2024, Forbes named the pair to its 30 Under 30 list in consumer technology, a reminder that one early venture can lead to an entirely different next idea.
