Drop Top / Sustainable Irrigation

In farming, saving water can begin with something as small as controlling how each drop reaches a plant.

Matthew Goodman worked on Drop Top, a sustainability venture designed to improve drip irrigation and reduce wasted water. The idea focused on making irrigation more efficient so growers could use a limited resource more carefully.

The Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award gave Matthew and his team an early chance to continue testing whether a practical change in irrigation could make water work harder.
