A Better Way to Move Through Treatment
MedUX / L-IV
Quinn King saw firsthand how being tethered to an IV pole could make treatment more cumbersome when his mother was receiving cancer care. He and Alec Gillinder decided to work on another approach.
Together they developed MedUX and the L-IV concept, a portable intravenous system designed to let patients move while receiving treatment. They also explored a field-oriented version for emergency response and military use.
The project gave Quinn a way to turn a problem his family had experienced into an idea aimed at giving patients more freedom during care.
