Black culture, business, style, music, and history often live across many different corners of the internet. Zebedayo Masongo wanted to bring more of that excellence into one digital home.
He created Grnwood, inspired by the history of Tulsa's Black Wall Street, as a media platform for people of color doing notable work across culture and business. His plans included video, international expansion, and a broader digital community built around a Black lens.
The idea combines entrepreneurship with curation: help people discover achievement, stories, and opportunity without having to search across disconnected platforms.
