Helping Young People Discover the Power of Their Own Voice
VOICE
Young people often have something important to say long before anyone gives them a platform to say it.
Jordan Pierre created VOICE to change that.
VOICE is a community designed to help marginalized students use storytelling, leadership, and community involvement to recognize their ability to create change.
"VOICE is more than a brand; it is a movement intended to reaffirm youth in their voice and their ability to evoke change," Jordan said.
He hosts symposiums and workshops where young people explore examples of youth-led change, learn to use social media to build community, and discover how their own experiences can become part of a larger conversation.
Jordan hopes VOICE can eventually grow from a community into a foundation.
"We live in a time where adults must make space and put youth in positions to lead," he said.
